Jeffrey R. Byrne was born on March 11, 1948. His home of record is Piscataway, NJ. He graduated from Piscataway High School in 1966.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Warrant Office (WO) with the 123rd Aviation Battalion. He piloted a UH-1 Huey helicopter while serving.
Byrne was killed in action on February 18, 1968. He is buried in Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, NJ, section L, site 2424.
