Dennis Rocco Cama was born on August 3, 1947. His home of record is Hazlet, NJ. He was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Union Beach, NJ. Dennis was engaged to be married to Kathleen Bishop.

He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4). His tour of duty in Vietnam began on November 12, 1968.

Cama was killed in action on April 19, 1969, in Binh Duong, South Vietnam, as a result of multiple fragmentation wounds. His body was recovered and returned home to his family. A requiem mass was offered on April 25, 1969, at Holy Family Catholic Church. He is buried at Fairview Cemetery in Middletown, NJ.
