Harold J. Henasey was born in Burlington, NJ, on April 2, 1947. Harold attended Burlington City High School where he enjoyed bicycling, baseball and listening to music.
He entered the US Army and completed basic training at Fort Carson, CO, where he attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC). Henasey left for Vietnam on Thanksgiving Day 1967, as part of the 1st Cavalry American Division.
On April 29, 1968, a month after his 21st birthday, Henasey was killed when his tank was hit by an enemy mine.
He left behind his parents, Edward and Dorothy, two sisters, Kathleen and Mary, and two brothers, Patrick and Joseph.
