Steven G. Ramsey was born on October 29, 1943. His home of record is Teaneck, NJ. He attended the University of Tennessee and earned a master’s degree at Pennsylvania University.

He served in the US Army and attained the rank of First Lieutenant (1LT). Ramsey was a Green Beret.

First Lt. Steven G. Ramsey was a member of the Green Berets in Vietnam. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for heroism. He lived in Teaneck nine years. He attended the University of Tennessee and earned a master’s degree at Pennsylvania State University. He died in Plei Me on June 1, 1968, at the age of 24, and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery. His wife, parents, and two sisters survived him.
