David Alan Nudenberg was born on September 2, 1946. His home of record is Caldwell, NJ. He was a member of many clubs and sports programs in high school. Some of these included the Key Club, football, wrestling, scouts, radio electronics club, student council, class council, student newspaper, history club and drama club. He enjoyed church activities, skiing, and airplanes. He was working toward the goal of becoming a missionary minister.
Nudenberg served in the US Army and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC). He served as a Dog Handler as part of the 63rd Scout Platoon. Heidi was his canine partner.
Nudenberg was killed in action on November 12, 1970.
