Francis J. Keller was born in Jersey City, NJ, on November 6, 1949. His home of record is Bayonne, NJ. Francis had one brother and three sisters. He attended Robertson Elementary School and Bayonne High School.
He entered the US Army where he attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC).
On the night of May 28, 1970, Keller was killed in action while defending an area against Communist attack. He was 20 years old.
Keller was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star. He is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ.
