Charles J. Holland was born on July 27, 1939. His home of record is Elizabeth, NJ.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Sergeant First Class (SFC). He was a paratrooper. Holland was part of an infantry battalion of the 173rd Airborne Brigade prior to becoming part of the Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol.
Holland was killed in action on August 18, 1967. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross. He is buried at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth, NJ.
