Ronald W. Knosky was born on January 27, 1946. His home of record is Linden, NJ. He was an altar boy at St. Adalbert’s and attended St. Adalbert’s grammar school in Elizabeth. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1963. His nickname was “Goose.”
Knosky served in the US Marine Corps and attained the rank of Corporal (CPL). He served in Vietnam as a Tank Crewman.
Knosky was killed in action on May 14, 1967. He was survived by his mother, Laura Knosky. Knosky is buried at St. Gertrudes Cemetery in Colonia, NJ.
There is a park in Linden, NJ, named in his honor. It is located at Stiles and West Elm Streets.
