Edward Bruno was born on January 2, 1948. His home of record is Cherry Hill, NJ. Edward graduated from Long Beach High School in New York in June 1966. His family lived in New York City until his family moved to Cherry Hill, NJ, in 1966.

He enlisted in the US Marine Corps in September 1966. Bruno trained at Camp Lejeune, NC, and completed several tours of duty in the Mediterranean. He attained the rank of Lance Corporal (LCPL).

Bruno was killed in action on August 7, 1969. He was survived by his mother and stepfather, Marie and Julius Goodstein, a sister, Vicki, a half-sister, Jodi, and two step-sisters.

He was posthumously awarded the Silver Star. Bruno is buried at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ.
