Arthur C. Sisco, Jr. was born on September 4, 1946. His home of record is Newton, NJ.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4). He was part of the 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment.
Sisco died on February 27, 1967 due to massive wounds he received in battle. Edward Lawson served in the 106th General Hospital in Kishine Barracks in Yokohama and cared for Arthur. Lawson wrote a remembrance on http://www.thewall-usa.com stating that Arthur “told me that he was a coal miner, as was his father.” Arthur’s father visited his son in Japan during his last days.
He is buried at Beemerville Cemetery, Wantage, NJ.
