Robert C. Kugelmann was born on January 23, 1946, to Mr. & Mrs. Robert A. Kugelmann. His home of record is Manasquan, NJ. He lived in Bloomfield before moving to Wall Township in 1963. He was a graduate of Wall High School. He was a communicant of St. Denis Roman Catholic Church and was a member of Manasquan Post 1838, Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Kugelmann served in the US Army for two and one-half years and was overseas for nine months as a member of the Army Corps of Engineers. He attained the rank of Specialist 5 (SP5).

On December 12, 1967, at the age of 21, he died in Vietnam of a cerebral hemorrhage.

He was survived by his parents, a brother and sister, William and Donna, and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Eillian Robinson.
