Gerald W. Conner was born on April 29, 1947. His home of record is Colts Neck, NJ. Conner attended Freehold Borough High School, graduating in 1965.
He served in the US Marine Corps and attained the rank of Corporal (CPL).
Conner was killed in action on February 20, 1968 when the aircraft he was traveling on crashed during a medical evacuation flight. Conner was awarded the Purple Heart, Air Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Marine Corps Combat Aircrew Badge.
