Tyrone Hill was born on March 12, 1949. His home of record is Garfield, NJ. Tyrone had one brother.
Hill was an active child, skilled in baseball and basketball. Hill played in the Garfield-wide 8th grade basketball all-star team, that year the team won the championship.
He enlisted in the US Marine Corps and attained the rank of Private (PVT).
Hill was killed in action on May 12, 1968, in Quang Nam. He had been in Vietnam just eight months. Tyrone is buried at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Paterson, New Jersey.
