Thomas M. Bonine was born on February 13, 1948 in Minnesota to Mr. Marvin and Mrs. Dotty Bonine. His home of record is Glen Ridge, NJ but he spent his childhood in California, Virginia, Wisconsin and New Jersey. He graduated from Glen Ridge High School in 1966 and attended college in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a talented artist.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer (CWO). He served in Vietnam as a Helicopter Pilot with the 1st Avn Bat, 1st Infantry Division.
Bonine was killed in action on June 3, 1969. He is buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery in MI. He was survived by his parents, sisters Joanne and Susanne and brother James.
