Jeffrey L. Barker was born on October 1, 1946. His home of record is Ridgefield, NJ. Prior to his service, he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps. His father, Lawrence, was a pipefitter.
He was drafted into the US Army and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC). Barker volunteered for service in Vietnam as a paratrooper.
Barker was killed in action from grenade wounds on June 8, 1967. Jeffrey is buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly, NJ.
