Gerald F. Brown was born on July 2, 1947. His home of record is Newark, NJ. He had one sister, Patricia. Gerald, or Jerry as he was referred to, graduated from Essex Catholic High School in Newark, NJ, in 1965. He was part of the Fencing Team.
Brown entered the US Army and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4). His tour of duty began on December 8, 1967.
On June 2, 1968, at the age of 20, Brown was killed in action in Pleiku, South Vietnam.
