Peter E. Millar was born on April 11, 1948, to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Millar. His home of record is Paramus, NJ. The family moved to Roxbury, NY, in 1966 when Peter joined the service.

Millar served in the US Marine Corps and attained the rank of Corporal (CPL). He was assigned to Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 9th Marines.

Millar was killed in action on May 21, 1967. He is buried at Roxbury Cemetery in Roxbury, NY. He is remembered on the Paramus Veterans Memorial in Paramus, New Jersey. He was survived by his parents and siblings Kevin, Jean, Andrew, Edmund, Maureen, Anne, Eamon, Chloe and Olivia.
