Thomas A. Marchut was born on December 3, 1947. His home of record is Sayreville, NJ. Thomas attended Sayreville War Memorial High School.

He served in the US Army with Co C 1-22BN, 4th Infantry Division and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC).
