Biography
Earl S. Wemple was born on January 7, 1925. His home of record is Netcong, NJ. He graduated from Netcong High School in 1942.
He enlisted in the US Army in 1943 and fought in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He attained the rank of Sergeant Major (SMAJ). He was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division in Thua Thien Province in Vietnam.
Wemple was killed in action on April 21, 1969, while part of the A Shau Valley Campaign.
