Biography
Frederick G. Wheeler was born on December 30, 1932, to Frederick George Zajicek and Elizabeth Wheeler. His home of record is Elizabeth, NJ. He had one sister, Cora Berlinski, and two brothers, Robert and Edwin Lane. Frederick and his wife, Susan, had one daughter, Tracy.
Wheeler stood at 5' 11" and had blue eyes. He entered the US Army in 1949. He attained the rank of Sergeant First Class (SFC).
Wheeler was killed in action on March 22, 1967. He is buried in Long Island National Cemetery.
