Biography


Bohdan P. Brydun was born on December 12, 1946, to Maria and William Brydun. He was born in a displaced persons camp in Europe and came to the United States as an infant. He was brother to John, Anna and Nancy. His home of record is Jersey City, NJ. He attended Lincoln High School.

Brydun was proud to be an American of Ukrainian descent. For this reason he proudly served his country in the US Army and attained the rank of Corporal (CPL). Bohdan served with the 1st Battalion, 50th Infantry, 1st Cavalry Division.

Brydun was killed in action on December 10, 1967. He is buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
