Biography
Wardell L. Armstrong was born on December 13, 1949. His home of record is Rahway, NJ.
He entered the US Marine Corps while in Glasgow, KY, and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC/E2).
On October 9, 1968, at the age of 18, Armstrong was killed in action in South Vietnam, Quang Nam Province. He is buried at Pleasant Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Hiresville, Kentucky.
