Biography
Lloyd V. Greene was born on August 26, 1936. His home of record is Paterson, NJ.
Greene entered the US Army in 1960, and attained the rank of Sergeant (SGT). He was a paratrooper. He served with the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
Greene was killed in action on November 8, 1965 on Hill 65 during Operation Hump in War Zone D 15 kilometers north of Bien Hoa. He was a 13F4P Automatic Weapons Crewman. A total of 48 members of the 173rd died on the same day. His wife, Sarah, and three children survived him.
