Biography
Robert J. Burroughs was born on June 26, 1942. His home of record is Hamilton Square, NJ. He had one sister, Mary Ann. Bob was a nice guy, always had a smile and a joke or funny story. He loved his Oldsmobile. He liked to hang out in Groveville, NJ, and work on his car. He had a garage in Wrightstown, NJ, with a friend.
He served in the US Army and attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4). Burroughs was assigned to Company D, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division.
Burroughs was killed in action on October 14, 1967. He is buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Trenton, NJ.
