Biography
John S. Szymanski was born on July 5, 1940. His home of record is Trenton, NJ. John attended Hamilton High School West.
He served in the US Marine Corps and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSGT). Szymanski was assigned to C Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marines, 3rd Marine Division.
Szymanski was killed in action on March 23, 1967.
His name appears on the Veterans' Memorial at Hamilton High School West in Hamilton, NJ, along with the six other graduates from that school that were killed in Vietnam.
