Biography


Edward C. Fanning was born on April 23, 1948, in Brooklyn, NY.  His home of record is Hazlet, NJ. He was a 1965 graduate of Raritan High School and a parishioner of St. Benedict's Church.  He was employed by General Cable Corporation in Perth Amboy, NJ.  

Fanning entered the US Army and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC).  He served with Company D, 321st Infantry Division.

Fanning was killed in action on June 15, 1969, four months before his 21st birthday.
