Biography


 

Steven Merle Brown was born on September 13, 1948, in Rahway, NJ.  His home of record is Manalapan, NJ.

Brown served in the US Army and followed in his father's footsteps.  Steven attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer (CWO).

He was eventually assigned to Vietnam.  On January 8, 1970, Brown was killed in action.

He was awarded the Purple Heart. He is buried at Rosedale and Rosehill Cemetery in Linden, NJ.
