Biography
Robert W. Ortiz was born on January 20, 1952 to Jaime and Edith Ortiz. His home of record is Paterson, NJ.
He enlisted in the US Marine Corps on August 25, 1969 and attained the rank of Private First Class (PFC). He served with Company G, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st MARDIV.
Ortiz was killed in action on September 2, 1970. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Patterson, NJ.
