Biography


Albert L. D'Adamo, Jr. was born on September 2, 1946.  His home of record is Wanamassa, NJ.  Albert graduated from Neptune High School.  He was a Sachem of the Tecumseh Tribe No. 60, order of the Red Men, Neptune.

D'Adamo began serving in the US Army in June 1968.  He attained the rank of Specialist 4 (SP4).

D'Adamo was killed in action on March 28, 1969, in Long An, South Vietnam by small arms fire while on a combat mission.  He had been previously wounded in action and was awarded the Purple Heart.
