The Vietnam Era Museum and Educational Center is the only one of its kind in the entire country. The Museum and Educational Center serves as the local resource of Vietnam era information. NJVVMF promotes its mission by educating the public on this dynamic time period. As an educator and/or student, we have many resources available for you.

Group Tours
Whether you want to book a tour for a class group, an assocation, business, or other organization,
our group tours are a great way to see the Memorial and Vietnam Era Museum and Educational Center.
Educational Programs
In addition to our school tours we are developing new programs, even for schools that are unable to travel to us.
Programs include the Traveling Trunk, Connecting to the 60s Puzzle Activity, and Distance Learning.

Oral Histories
Capturing the stories of the Vietnam era is essential to understanding the time period.

Educator Workshops
The Vietnam Era Museum and Educational Center is an accredited professional development credit provider for New Jersey.
Whether you are a teacher, museum professional, board member, historical society volunteer,
librarian, retiree, history bluff, or student, you will learn different in-depth topics for practical application.
We also host an Annual Forum for educators on a new topic each year.
Resource Room
Available by appointment, there are over 1,500 books, media, and archival materials from the Vietnam era in the Resource Room. Soon we will provide online access to our collection so you can discover what we have prior to our visit. Our staff can also assist you in your research.
Scholarship
Each year the NJ Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Foundation awards two $2500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are accepted ito a college or university. After visiting the Memorial, students are required to complete an application and an essay about their trip.
